Back in September 2014 Skelmanthorpe Prospect Brass shared the stage with Yorkshire singer/songwriter, Roger Davies for the band’s 20th anniversary concert. The concert took place in Shelly College’s new auditorium where the band and ‘The Yorkshire Songwriter’ himself performed varied and entertaining programmes separately but came together at the end of the evening to perform two of Roger’s compositions, ‘Brighouse on Saturday Night’ and a tribute to Woodie Guthrie, ‘This Land Is Your Land’.
