New signings for Skelmanthorpe

The Skelmanthorpe Band has announced a number of new signings in recent months — ones who have already helped lead them to success at the Butlins Mineworkers Championship in Skegness and a podium finish at the First Section Yorkshire Regional Championships.

Gregor Spence has come in on solo EEb tuba, with Thomas Hunt on front row cornet, Mary Golder on solo trombone, Natasha and James Willoughby on percussion, and more recently, Andrew McKinley on solo euphonium.

Laura Brown said: “We are delighted to have such high calibre players join the band, and look forward to working together in the future.”
