On Sunday 26th October 2014, both The Skelmanthorpe Band and Skelmanthorpe Prospect Brass took to the Stage at the 2014 Rochdale Contest.

After both Bands put on fantastic performances of their Test-Pieces, The Skelmanthorpe Band took a well-deserved 2nd Place in The Championship/First Section and Skelmanthorpe Prospect Brass took a very impressive 2nd Place in The Second Section!!

What a weekend it was for The Skelmanthorpe Brass Band Community!!

Everyone at Skelmanthorpe Prospect Brass would like to thank all of our borrowed players on the day, James Garlick on 2nd Trombone and Max Salt on Percussion. Your time and effort as always was very much appreciated, thank you.
