This month, Skelmanthorpe Band is saying farewell to Sharon Swales, who has been a member of the band for eighteen years. During this time, she has delivered many memorable solo performances on the concert and contest stage. The band owes a massive debt of gratitude to Sharon for her contribution to the success of the band during her time.
We are also sad that Sarah Musgreave is leaving the band. During her time with the band, Sarah has been a stalwart member of the cornet team and will be very much missed for her contribution both in the bandroom and beyond.
